The Feel Good Way

Am I getting you triggered with all this Human Design talk? Are you a just a little bit curious? Before we can dig into it with fun details and interesting topics, I first need to try and explain some of the basics. 

To start off is very easy. All you need is your birth date and exact birth time, and your birth place. You can either ask your mum or get your birth certificate. Then either go to the website of Jovian Archives and get your chart (it’s free), or if you don’t like that, you can send me a message and I’ll put your data through my software. A few seconds later you receive your bodygraph in your mailbox. It’s as simple as that! 

But that is where ‘simple’ ends in Human Design. You will get the body graph and that’s it. If you are new to Human Design you will not be able to read it. You can either start studying Human Design yourself, or ask me for some help to figure out what’s in your chart. I am still studying to become an analist though!

As soon as I received my body graph, I was hooked. It was so correct that I couldn’t but believe that Human Design has certain ‘powers’. This chart really knows me, almost in a scary way.

A body chart (of an anonymous person) looks like this. It’s complex and full of shapes, colors, and numbers. The diagram resembles the upper half of a human body and features nine shapes known as centers. Some centers are filled in, while others are left blank. These centers may be connected by lines, called channels, or remain unconnected. These channels are either red (unconscious) or black (conscious). Each center contains a set of numbers, called gates, which may be coloured or not. On both sides you see symbols of planets and numbers. As you can already imagine, all these different variations mean something different. This is what make you you, and different from just about everyone else!

And then there is a whole bunch of information at the bottom of the page that gives you more general information on who you are, how you function.

As you can probably guess, it’s nearly impossible to explain everything right here and right now— it’s incredibly complex and touches on so many layers. But let me give you a small glimpse behind the curtain.

The journey begins with discovering your energy type. There are five possibilities, each with its own strategy — that is a specific way of engaging with the world. Here they are in short :

The Manifestor (8%) : You are here to have impact on the world. You are the only type who is allowed to initiate, but only after you have informed the people around you on what you are about to do. As a Manifestor you are here to change the world by following your own path, even if that means being different from others. Famous manifestors : Johnny Depp, Vladimir Putin, Mao Zedong.

The Manifesting Generator and the Generator (70%) : You are here to get to know yourself. You are not supposed to initiate but to respond.

Generator : You’re the engine that keeps things moving. When you do what excites you, your energy grows stronger and attracts the right people and opportunities. Famous Generators : Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Albert Einstein.

Manifesting Generator : you are a unique blend of Generator endurance and Manifestor drive, allowing you to move quickly, multitask, and follow multiple passions at once. Famous Manifesting Generators : Miley Cyrus, Angelina Jolie, Elon Musk.

The Projector (21%) : You here to understand others. Your strategy is waiting for an invitation. As a Projector, you’re not here to generate energy but to guide the energy of others. Your strength lies in seeing through people and situations with clarity. You don’t have a lot of energy yourself, so rest, self-care, and recognition are essential. Famous projectors are Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela and Princess Diana.

The Reflector (1%) : You are here to understand everything. You must wait for a lunar cycle to pass. Being a Reflector means that you are a healer, you are deeply intuitive and sensitive to the energies around you. Famous reflector : Sandra Bullock.

Now let’s have a quick look at the person on the chart above. The words in bold is information you can find in the text under the chart.

He is a Generator (energy type), he has a huge amount of steady energy which he uses to go step by step to get things done. He is very good at finishing off what he started. He can not initiate what he is doing though, only a manifestor can do that; he has to respond (strategy to something. That can be a question, but also something he sees on a billboard, in a movie, etc. He hears and sees something and with that he has to decide according to his Authority. This generator’s authority is sacral. This means he feels it in his gut, by answering yes and no questions. If it’s a ‘maybe’, then it is a no. Sacral authorities don’t answer too well on open questions.

If all this goes right, he should feel satisfied. If he is frustrated, that is a sign that he has either initiated or has not decided through his gut but through his head. Are you a generator and you are feeling frustrated? That’s a sign that you are not living your design….

Once you know this, you can dive into the centers, the gates, the channels and a lot more, and that is when it gets really interesting!
