Should we cancel our outdoor activity somewhere this week? Is Santa Rosa, just like very other year,  5 days before or 5 days after the 30th of august, paying us a visit with her thunderstorms? It certainly does not look like it. These thunderstorms are supposed to be heavier and with more rain than any other thunderstorm, but in fact this is not the case. Only 16 times in the last 142 years there had been more precipitation then normal.

In fact the Santa Rosa thunderstorms are no more then the first real thunderstorms of the season. They mark the end of the winter and the beginning of spring, so isn’t that good news? So Santa Rosa, please come! I am waiting for you!
